The refined, modern atmosphere of Rita by Ismael Iglesis can be found in the Egia neighbourhood of San Sebastian. Here, guests can enjoy haute cuisine and fresh gastronomy in an environment that relishes at reinventing itself. Owner Ismael Iglesis studied his art under the watchful eyes of Luis Irizar at some of the best kitchens along the Basque coast. Since then, opening “Rita” where Basque cuisine comes alive as Ismael embraces the heat, regularly cooking with an open flame. Along with the main dining area, events such as “Eating in the Kitchen” allow for demonstration cooking and tasting menus with wine pairings.
