Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia (Via Privata Raimondo Montecuccoli, 6, 20147)

Here is a true family-run restaurant, that dates back to 1962. Founded by Aimo and Nadia Moroni it fast became one of the best restaurants in Milan.

Since being awarded 2 Michelin stars, the restaurant is now run by the Moroni’s daughter - Stefania Moroni. The tasty menu includes wonderful and traditional Italian dishes such as lamb ‘torcinello’ with pecorino cheese from Calabria and Cappellini green beans.

Cracco (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 20121 Milano)

Another Michelin Star restaurant is Cracco, which is certainly still considered one of the best restaurants in the city. As well as the main dining area, there's also a bar, bistro, wine cellar and even a high-class pastry shop.

Chef Carlo Cracco creates traditional Milanese cuisine such as the indulgent fish soup and egg yolk marinated with asparagus and black truffle. There are also plenty of twists on typical pasta dishes too, all of which are paired with excellent wines.

Sadler (Via Ascanio Sforza, 77, 20141 Milano)

Claudio Sadler’s famous restaurant is widely considered one of the best places to eat in Milan if you're after an intimate and romantic evening.

Reinventing traditional dishes with innovative techniques, Claudio has earned the restaurant a Michelin star and a mention in Le Sorte, an association that only includes restaurants offering true Italian cuisine.
