The Central Valley, Virginia
This is actually one of the oldest wine regions in America. The lengthy growing season combined with the clay of the Blue Ridge Mountains creates a superb wine country location. The area is massive with huge resources. You can find almost everything being grown here - from Cabernet Sauvignon to Muscat. It is definitely a wine lover’s paradise in heaven!
Monticello, Virginia
As it stands, the Monticello wine trail covers over 30 wineries within the Monticello American Viticultural area. The Livermore Valley
The Livermore Valley has a long rich history of grape-growing production. In 1889, the region won a gold medal at the Paris Exposition, bringing California wine vast attention. The valley boasts such favourites as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Petite Sirah.
