Local market visit and private cooking class

Starting your lesson where it all begins, with a trip to the local food market. Here you can select the freshest ingredients, as well as a chance to meet some of the suppliers.

After which, your host will take you home, ready for a private cookery lesson. By learning 3 authentic dishes, you then get to taste the fruits of your labour with a bottle of complimentary wine.

Learn Italian & Dine at A Cesarina's Home

Here you will enjoy a private Italian lesson with a professional teacher. Enjoy an Italian Aperitivo, followed by a four-course meal at a Cesarina's home. The meal will be based upon authentic family recipes passed down by real Italian Mammas!

This is a fantastic gastronomic experience to enjoy with the pairing of red and white wines from the Lombardia cellar. Although not strictly a cookery class, you will leave at the end of the evening with a better grasp of the Italian language. As well as knowledge of the local wines, while making new friends along the way.

Lake Maggiore Cooking Class

This is a fabulous way to enjoy the local produce that you have prepared with your own personal chef!  On this tour, your host’s home is situated in the Ticino Natural Park, where you will enjoy the wonderful surroundings. This is particularly special as you will then go on to have lunch in the wood. Please remember to bring comfortable footwear as there will be a walk through the woods.

The journey to the Chef’s home will take about an hour, and if you wish to travel by train, you will be picked up from the station. If you are hiring a car, then the journey can take up to two hours, depending on your location.  Once you have arrived, you will prepare the dishes of your choice.
