The restaurant is actually in the basement of a Georgian mansion, and the upstairs houses the Dublin Writers Museum. Richmond

The varied menu changes all the time and offers creative and stylish dishes. A really good choice is the roast celeriac and comte pie served with chard and fresh peas.

The tables do get booked up quickly on the ground floor, but the spacious upstairs dining room is very relaxed, making it the perfect place for a really special meal a loved one or friends.

The Greenhouse

The outside of The Greenhouse may appear slightly staid, but the delicious gourmet food found inside is certainly not! This Michelin-star restaurant boasts authentic Irish cuisine with a twist of Finland, all devised by the head chef Mickael Viljanen who hails from Finland.

The mouth-watering dishes are, available on a six-course tasting menu, and feature fresh hand-dived scallops with frozen oyster and osetra caviar. Or, steamed turbot with roasted yeast tapioca and soy marmalade is another very popular dish.

Each course delivers superb flavour and colour, making The Greenhouse a fabulous spot for a special meal.

Bastible

Another fantastic restaurant in Dublin, this time awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The restaurant opened in 2015 and although it still accepts ‘walk-ins’, it is best to book beforehand. Especially, if you want to relish the seasonal cuisine as Bastible has become one of the best restaurants in Dublin.

The menu changes regularly, giving visitors a taste of really fresh produce. Do try their delicious signature fermented sourdough.

The Pig's Ear

The Pig’s Ear serves amazing Irish cuisine while overlooking the historic Dublin university grounds. Making it a great location if you wish to combine your food experience with historical local attractions.
