What you’ll do

Meet a local truffle hunter (a “trifolao”) and his dogs to hunt for truffles together in the Piedmont wine region. As you stroll up into the woods, you’ll learn about the trees and the soil, and hear some truffle secrets that have been passed down through three generations. Nice touch: You’ll be accompanied by Margherita, a friend of the trifolao, who translates his stories as you go.
