What you’ll do

Join us to Discover the art of creating Michelin Style Pintos in San Sebastian, where we combine traditional pintxos with avant-garde techniques to create a culinary experience like no other.   • Pinchos, or “pintxos” as they are known in the Basque Country, are petite, yet elegantly crafted dishes. Think miniature sandwiches, delightful little-filled glasses, and intricate mini casserole dishes – a vibrant world of delectable snacks to enjoy. In Basque food culture, a pintxo bar is considered one of the most paramount establishments to both indulge in delicious food and cherish the company of loved ones.
  • Our team of chefs hail from illustrious culinary backgrounds, including the Michelin 3-star Azark and the Michelin-starred restaurant ‘La Bicicleta’ in Cantabria. Some have also honed their craft at prestigious locales like 'El Bar Mut', 'Taverna Hofmann', and 'Arroz'. Imagine learning from these Maestros of cuisine and sharing their secrets with your fellow foodies! Just picture the look on their faces as you serve up a delicious meal made with techniques you've mastered!
Itinerary

Pintxos and tapas are what we call miniature cuisine, where the variety of tastes you can create are limited only by your imagination. With our team of chefs, we have prepared this workshop so that you can learn how to create typical Basque pinchos and enjoy them in our gastronomic space in the center of Donosti.

During this workshop, alongside a team of skilled chefs, you will craft and indulge in the most renowned and authentic pintxos hailing from the beautiful Basque Country.

“Gordal” olives with vermouth

Tiger mussels with foamy béchamel sauce

Cheesecake dessert created using one of the avant-garde techniques – spherification

Included in this experience, a souvenir apron will be provided alongside a copy of the recipes, exquisitely prepared food, and your choice of wine or selection of soft drinks.

Kindly ensure you are punctual and reach the meeting point 10-15 minutes prior to the departure time.
Notes

The class includes food, drinks, and wine tastings as outlined in the itinerary. Additional orders placed during the class must be paid for by the individual who orders them. If unsure, the tour guide will be happy to assist

Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended as there is some standing involved during your class

If you're under the age of 18, unfortunately, you cannot consume alcohol. However, there are plenty of delicious non-alcoholic options available

Your class will be conducted in English

The class lasts 5 hours starting at 6 pm
