Our local guides explain the area through the food, and show you local coffee shops, open green market, chocolate shop, fish market and many more. Step back in time and stroll the charming cobblestone streets in footsteps, or should we say foodsteps, of the powerful Roman emperor Diocletian. You will see the most famous and important landmarks of 1700 year old UNESCO protected palace. At the end, you'll be feasting like the emperor himself at an amazing restaurant that serves flavorful essence of the area in a traditional yet innovative lunch, with inclusive options for all, and welcome drinks. Don't forget to come hungry!

Itinerary

In an hour long (duration without lunch time) tour, you will see the most famous and important landmarks around his 1700 year old palace that is under the protection of UNESCO World heritage.

We'll also visit the fish market where "Split mentality" is shown like nowhere else.

The outdoor market - Pazar, is located right next to the east wall of the Diocletian Palace, and around the church of St Dominic. It is one of the central places of life in Split.
