Continue to the chic area of Aiolou, home to some of the best local restaurants in Athens, where you can enjoy Greek meze paired with ouzo or tsipouro, traditional Greek liqueurs.

Your journey continues to the bustling Varvakeios Agora meat and fish market. If you still have room, it's time to try souvlaki from one of the most traditional spots in Athens. While you rest in the beautiful Agia Eirini Square, your guide will get in line for you. Savour souvlaki or gyro, marinated in lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper, grilled on skewers, and served in pita bread.
