What you’ll do

Spend 5 days in the Priorat Wine Region staying at accommodation in l’Argentera. Enjoy wine and olive oil tasting, cultural visits and 3 Catalan cooking classes with a local chef. Learn how to make the perfect tapas and traditional Calçotada feast, along with a vegan kitchen course and tasting sessions of Montsant and Priorat wines. With transport available throughout your trip, there will also be time to visit a monastery in Escaladei, the city of Reus, Siurana village and much more. Accommodation is provided for the week, with airport pick-up on day one and departure on the morning of day 5.

Start Time: Day 1

Meeting Point: Airport pick up has been included within the tour price

Day 1 - Arrival: There will be a buffet dinner available upon arrival, along with time to meet your guide and relax in the jacuzzi or admire the views between Mediterranean Sea and the Priorat.

Day 2 - Priorat Wine Region: Visit the village of Siurana, wine-tasting in Montsant and sightseeing at the Escaladei monastery and surrounding vineyards. Taste farm-to-table wines and in the late afternoon learn to create 4-5 delicious courses as part of your first cooking lesson.

Day 3 - Reus: Enjoy a chauffer driven tour of the historic and modernistic city of Reus. Visit the Gaudi Center/Casa navas and the “Forn Sistare” where the best baker in town will demonstrate his breadmaking skills. During the day sample a classic aperitif in white and black vermouth before embarking on a tapas cooking class of 8-10 tapas.

Day 4 - Bioiris: Within the Riudecanyes sits an organic vegetable garden owned by Josep Ramon. Learn all about the history of the land how to grow organic fruit and veg, sample olive oil and enjoy a buffet lunch. Afterwards, join a vegan cooking class and also how to make "Menjablanc”, the traditional aromatic creme dessert from Reus.

Day 5 - Departure: Return to Barcelona
