We'll embark on a delightful journey through the charming streets of San Sebastian's historic old town, pausing between each delectable pintxo to delve into the rich tapestry of its history. Our path will lead us along Calle 31 de Agosto, a street that serves as a poignant relic of ancient San Sebastián. It was on this very thoroughfare that a pivotal moment in history unfolded in 1813 when English and Portuguese forces, allied with the Spanish, triumphed over the French troops that had held dominion over the city.
