Visit a Basque farmhouse run by the same family since the 16th Century. By the hand of a member of the family, devoted to recovering the indigenous Basque pig, you will learn how those pigs are reared and understand the traditional role of these self-sufficient traditional Basque farms.

These happy pigs are feed in green raigrass pasture, full of white and purple clover, hay and mountain herbs, nettle and Rumex roots and the fruits of our centuries-old native hardwoods

Full Lunch at a Private Farm House, Home of an Artisan Ham Producer

Our culinary journey leads us to a farm with a legacy dating back to 1584. This extraordinary place is home to a family that is now in its 13th generation, maintaining the traditions and raising the endangered Basque pig breed. Their commitment to the farm-to-table philosophy is unparalleled in the Basque Country. It's an honour to be invited into their home, where they'll cook a special meal exclusively for you.

You're in for a treat as the housewife, using ONLY homegrown ingredients, crafts a 5-course farm-to-table meal with cider & wine. This remarkable meal is topped with a succulent beef steak cooked over a wood fire, infusing it with unique flavours that are impossible to replicate elsewhere.
