From Bordeaux: Wine And Bike Tour St Emilion in Private with Pick-up

What you’ll do

Discover the famous vineyards of Saint-Emilion by bicycle! You will ride along the vineyards and the famous chateaux of this region. During the day you will visit two chateaux: a beautiful family-run estate & a Great Classified Growth estate. During your private day tour, get to know and understand better the diversity of Bordeaux wines.

Start Time: 9:30 AM

Duration: 9 HRS

Group Size: Minimum 2 - Maximum 8 people

Meeting Place: Hotels in Bordeaux city centre

You will enjoy a guided walk in the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, which is UNESCO’s World Heritage classified. In this region, Merlot is the king of the grape varieties!

9.30 am: Your guide will come to pick you up at your hotel in Bordeaux. Drive to St. Emilion. The guide will provide you with all the information about the Bordeaux & Saint-Emilion wine regions

10.30 am: Get the bikes and ride in the middle of the vineyards of Saint-Emilion. Enjoy seeing some prestigious properties such as Chateau Petrus or Cheval Blanc!

2.00 pm: Enjoy a visit at a charming family run chateau (you will visit the place and discover a traditional way of making wine!)

3.15 pm: Back on your bike, take an easy ride through the beautiful Saint-Emilion vineyards. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the charming village of St. Emilion dating from Middle-Age and UNESCO’s World Heritage classified

4.30 pm: Visit and tasting session at a Classified Growth estate of Saint-Emilion or in a prestigious wine estate. Enjoy explanations about the winemaking process, from the vine to the bottle. Finish by a tasting of the estate’s wines!

6.30 pm: Drop off at your hotel in Bordeaux

For lunch (option non included) we recommend to enjoy a lunch in the garden of a lovely family run chateau (or in the dining room of the chateau in case of bad weather), or we can carefully select a local and charming restaurant for you. Program and times above may change
