Itinerary
1
We will visit one of the biggest markets in Italy. Walk through its over 200 stalls and taste a variety of typical Italian products made by local farmers.
2
Prati is an elegant district of Rome with residential buildings, high-quality restaurants and monuments.
3
Borgo is another historic neighborhood located between the banks of the River Tiber and the Vatican City. Here you will find some iconic attractions, including Castel Sant’Angelo.
4
The tour will continue with a walk along the Vatican walls. Hear about the history and architecture of this impressive construction and see some interesting landmarks, such as Porta Sant ’Anna and Porta Angelica, that was the main access route for the pilgrims arriving to Rome.
5
It is an elevated passage that links the Vatican City with the Castel Sant'Angelo, built in 1277 by Pope Nicholas III and that served as an escape route for Popes in danger. A real hidden gem of the Eternal City.
