From Barcelona: Enjoy the Grape Harvest in the Priorat Wine Region

What you’ll do

Discover the local wine trails and join the grape harvest in the Priorat wine region. Available only during harvest season (approximately September to October), this 2 day experience visits the cellar of Burgos-Porta and the Cooperativa de Cornudella winery. Join in with the family-friendly grape harvest and wine tasting of DOQ Priorat wines, plus a half-day guided walk and tasting session in Montsant. One night accommodation with breakfast is included, plus transfers from Barcelona airport are available upon request.

Interactive Grape Harvest: Experience the joy of picking bunches of grapes and follow the process from harvesting through to the end product.
Wine Tasting: Sample the previous years produce as well as further tastings at the Cooperativa de Cornudella winery.

Itinerary

Duration: 1.5 Days

Meeting Point: Your accommodation in the Priorat or transfers from Barcelona are available upon request.

Organic Grape Harvest: The day begins with a walk to the village of Poboleda, along the river Siurana before reaching the organic vineyards of the Burgos-Porta wine cellar. Learn all about the vineyards and help with the grape harvest.

Wine Tasting: Sample the wines produced from the grapes picked the previous year, having followed the wine-making process through to the storage in the cellar.

Cooperativa de Cornudella Winery: The morning of day 2 will include a walk to the magical spot of Sant Joan del Codolar within the Priorat wine region. As well as a treasure trail leading to hidden wines, the day concludes with wine tasting at the Cooperativa de Cornudella Winery.

Lunch: During the grape harvest on day 1 a picnic lunch will be served among the vineyards.
