Itinerary
1
Experience the true essence of Venice! Savour the taste of fresh, seasonal, and locally caught fish - the epitome of gastronomic delight. Enhance your culinary skills by preparing it at home with tips from a trusted local expert!
2
Venice's marketplace is Rialto, a vibrant display of authentic Venetian life. Its fish market is a symphony of sounds and colours; stalls brim with delicately arranged fish nestled on deep layers of crushed ice, while seagulls soar and call out over the bustle of fishmongers. Purposeful shoppers, generation after generation, gracefully move among the stalls, marking the passage of 800 years of tradition in the two halls of the "Pescheria."
3
After your choice of fish, you will cross the Canal Grande on a Gondola ferry, perhaps in the company of local women on their way home. Follow a delightful 15-minute stroll through hidden "calles" and arrive at Fondamente Nove, where a vaporetto awaits to transport you to Murano - the picturesque setting for our culinary adventure.
4
You will prepare your meal alongside a local Venetian while indulging in the flavour of Prosecco, savouring appetisers and admiring the picturesque canal through the dining room window.
5
With guidance from your host, craft a delectable pasta dish complete with a mouth-watering fish sauce, as a crisp sea bass baked to perfection in the oven. Follow these steps to create a refined and sophisticated meal.
6
The meal's culmination shall be a robust Italian coffee, meticulously brewed from the finest moka machine for peak perfection.
