Meeting Point: Piazza della Calza by Porta Romana in front of the blue P (parking) sign in Florence.

First Winery: Taste 4 different types of wines including the famous Chianti Classico, Brunello of Montalcino, Super Tuscan wines, a 30-year-old balsamic vinegar, and the delicious truffle extra virgin olive oil. Recognize the different flavours and develop your taste buds with a passionate wine producer.

Second Winery: Situated in a beautiful area renowned for producing D.O.C.G. Vernaccia white wine, with a backdrop of San Gimignano's iconic towers. Let the winemakers lead you through vineyards and cellars to taste 3 wines: Vernaccia white, rosè, and Chianti colli senesi. You can also purchase local products and wine at a great price to take home or send to loved ones.

San Gimignano: In the afternoon you will be free to visit and spend time wandering through the narrow streets, shopping in the local stores of the most beautiful medieval town of Tuscany.

Drop-off: The concludes back to the meeting point.

I did the grape escape tour with this company and had the most amazing time! We visited some amazing places including wineries in Tuscany. the leaning tower of Pisa and some amazing spots In Cinque Terre. The guides were very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable!! Highly recommend this company for tours in Italy!

We had the best day on the Grape Escape tour! We wish we had time to do another tour with the company. Ned was our tour guide( along with Lorenzo in training) we loved them. Both had great information. The wine and the day were wonderful!

My husband and I had an amazing time on the Grape Escape tour in Florence! We visited 2 different wineries with great wine and some great company as well. The third stop in San Gimignano was nothing short of a fairy tale setting. Such an amazing little town! It was easily one of the best days of our trip and we will definitely look for more tours for our next trip to Italy.

My two girlfriends and I took this tour, and it was absolutely wonderful! Emma was our guide, and she was informative and personable. She even gave me some advice on shopping back in Florence. The first winery was lovely, and the table for our tasting was set beautifully, with a nice selection of meats, cheeses, and bruschetta. We tasted oils as well as wines. The second winery was also a working farm, and the guide went into a lot more details of wine making. A totally enjoyable day!

A great tour where you get to sample so many local products, with the option to ship them home at a very affordable price! The views are also unbelievable. The tour guide, Manolo, was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions. We were backpacking, and he helped us store our packs under the bus and point us in the right direction as we were staying at the final stop. We had such a fun time and you definitely get your money’s worth!!

I went on two different Italy on a Budget tours 3 years ago, and both of them made my stay in Florence amazing! Both tours were so fun and ran so smoothly, they took care of all the details, especially the Grape Escape wine tour! Would highly recommend, and would definitely use again!
My wife and I booked the Grape Escape Tour and had the best time. Amy was our tour guide, and she was very knowledgeable and fun. She gave enough history about the Tuscan region without just rattling off facts for the sake of filling time and provided useful suggestions for San Gimignano.
Honestly, this tour was not only our favorite part of our stay in Florence, but also one of the major highlights of our whole European trip.

Alessandro and Antonello on The Grape Escape tour were both great. Very knowledgeable and lively throughout the tour. Took the time to make sure everyone was having an amazing time. Very good wine would recommend for anyone wanting to visit the Chianti region.
