Let us show you the best of Athens sites and people, find out a little more about Ancient Greeks' daily routine and compare it with a day in the life of a contemporary Athenian. This tour ends with an authentic Ancient Greek dinner where you will enjoy a three-course menu based on revived ancient Greek recipes… Put on your comfortable shoes, be inspired and become an ancient Greek for an hour or so…

Itinerary

Our tour leader will meet you at the meeting point and walk you towards the south entry of Acropolis before entering Plaka. We are not entering the site but we will give you a very good introduction while we are walking around it. If you decide to visit let your guide know and you get all the tips and tricks for a relaxing visit without crowds

There is so much to tell about Plaka. This beautiful place that has many shops and is quite commercial keeps its charm and beauty and no visit to Athens is worth unless you spend a night in a local tavern. There is a lot to tell about Plaka and we are certain that you will visit this place and its hidden gems on your own later.

This is my favourite site. Maybe the site that inspired me to curate this amazing tour. Every time I feel slightly moody, I come here and I instantly feel more positive. This is the place that I would call the first Meteo Station. Let me share my love for this place with you

We will have a quick stop outside the Ancient Agora of Athens. We will not go in the site but we will enjoy our tea or coffee or refreshment while you will be discovering all about the place where the Ancient Greeks frequented to buy their food, talk about politics, find out about the city's news, hear a philosopher or hire a private chef for their symposium. There is so much to tell so we need to sit down and enjoy a quick drink before continuing to your next discovery.

Towards the end of our walking tour we will pass in front of one of the most well preserved temples that was dedicated to God Hephaestus. The God that married beautiful Aphrodite but was always in love with Athena.

This is the last point that we visit. Here you will enjoy a delicious "Ancient Greek" dinner. All recipes are sourced by Ancient Greek writers' and poets' scripts. During your dinner you will sit back, close eyes, bring the pictures that you loved the most during your tour and taste a meal where you will be using all your senses.
