What you’ll do

Just an hour away from Cape Town you can experience viewing incredible wildlife at the Buffelsfontein Private Game Reserve alongside an olive, beer and wine tasting tour. Leaving your hotel at around 7.30AM the day starts with a 3 hour drive through the nature reserve. Following this is an olive tasting session, a modern craft beer brewery and a tasting session at one of Darling’s fine wine estates. Lunch is available (at own expense) at the brewery, where you're invited to sample a selection of the 13 beers available. West Coast Safari: The morning begins with a 3-hour drive at the Buffelsfontein Private Game & Nature Reserve in an open-top viewing vehicle, with a wide-range of wildlife in their natural habitat

Olive Tasting Session: At Darling Olives a 40-minute tasting is organised, accompanied by red and/or white wine, as well as an opportunity to stop at Darling Sweets to sample hand-made toffees and caramels

Darling Brewery: Lunch will be available to purchase at your own expense, served overlooking the local brewery, along with a selection of 13 craft beers available to try

Darling Wine Estate: Influenced by the conditions of the nearby Atlantic Ocean, the relatively dry land produces fruit of huge intensity and flavour, resulting in wonderful wines (tasting session included in cost)

Drop-Off: The tour returns to your Cape Town hotel via Bloubergstrand with incredible views looking out towards Table Mountain

End Time: Approximately 5 PM
