What you’ll do

A TRUE FOOD AND WINE EXPERIENCE IN THE HEART OF FLORENCE! Piazza del Duomo becomes the starting point of a journey that will show you the more sophisticated and less tourist circuits, visiting many wine shops. You will enjoy a glass of fine wine with finocchiona and crostini, you will hear the story of Tuscan dishes and in Oltrarno you will taste real organic wine. You will have the opportunity to experience the Florence of the local people! We will go through the medieval streets of Dante, among the tower-houses and in these places you can enjoy the famous tripe dish loved by the Florentines: the Lampredotto! After the salt dishes we will definitely need some ice cream, the real Florentine artisan ice cream, of course with a story and legends related to it!
Itinerary
1
the meeting point of this activity is planned in front of the central door of the Cathedral of Florence.

The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower was begun in 1296 in the Gothic style to a design of Arnolfo di Cambio and was structurally completed by 1436, with the dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi.

It is a very characteristic small square within the "Dante district of Florence", one of the most characteristic, with the medieval tower-houses
5
The central element of the square is the fourteenth-century Palazzo Vecchio, built between 1299 and 1314 to give a worthy seat to the Priori delle Arti, the representatives of the professional guilds that since 1282 held the government of the city and were used to reside at the Bargello.
6
The Ponte Vecchio is a medieval stone closed-spandrel segmental arch bridge over the Arno, in Florence, Italy. The only bridge in Florence spared from destruction during World War II, it is noted for the shops built along it; building shops on such bridges was once a common practice. Butchers, tanners, and farmers initially occupied the shops; the present tenants are jewellers, art dealers, and souvenir sellers
7
the Santa Trinita bridge connects the historic center with the Oltrarno district, in particular by linking Via de' Tornabuoni with Piazza de' Frescobaldi.
8
You will admire the beautiful landscapes of Florence and the Arno river after tasting real florentine artisanal Ice cream
9
The Piazza Santa Trinita is a triangular square in Florence, Italy, named after the church of Santa Trinita on the west side of the square. The piazza is traversed by the Via de' Tornabuoni. Near the middle of the square is an ancient Roman column known as the Column of Justice due to the sculpture of "Justice" on the top.
