07:30 Pickup from your hotel. Departure destination Champagne region. The ride takes about 2 hours (140 km) and one part of it goes along the picturesque Champagne landscapes and vineyards. One stop at a rest area will be made.
10:00 - 10:45 visit at the local family producer Champagne Chateau Boursault located on the top of the hills. Tasting of 3 Glass of Champagne with explanations. Walking to the Chateau with beautiful views over the vineyards inside of the walls of the Chateau. 10:45 Departure to Epernay (10 km). It takes about 15 minutes. Attn. On Sundays Champagne Chateau Boursault is closed. So we will offer You another local Champagne producer.
11:00 - 12:30 Arrival in Epernay. Guided tour at Champagne BOIZEL since 1834 including the underground cellars visit and tasting of 2 glasses of Champagne: the Brut Réserve and the Grand Vintage 2014. You will discover the Boizel House: "Le Cellier" and its oak barrels, "La Cuverie" and its impressive stainless-steel vats, historical Cellars, listed as Unesco World Heritage and the family "Trésor".
12:30 - 13:45 Lunch break in Épernay. We can make a good local restaurant reservation or You can spend time of Your own. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne river surrounded by the wine hills it is home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.
13:45 Departure to the Champagne Ayala in Ay village. It takes just 10 minutes (4 km).
14:00 - 15:30 Champagne Ayala since 1860 "Visit Prestige", English guided including the Champagne tasting of 4 glasses of Champagne.: Brut Majeur, Rosé Majeur, Brut Nature & une cuvée millésimée. Visit the CAVES and discover the method of Champagne making by AYALA. Walking to the roof with panoramic views over the region. 15:30 Departure to Hautvillers - a small historical village on the top of the hills. It takes about 10 minutes (6 km).
15:45 - 16:15 Visit the Abbey's Church of Sindulphe d'Hautvillers (Abbaye Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers). It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village. Stop at the View point with best Panoramic views over the vineyards and Marne river. 16:15 Departure to Paris. It takes 2 to 2,5 hours depending on traffic (135 km).
