A day tour to discover the excellences of Italian cuisine: visit an “Acetaia” a Traditional Balsamic Vinegar maker, a Parmigiano Reggiano cheese farm and the original Prosciutto ham.

Meet your guide and private minivan and go to an organic Parmigiano Reggiano cheese farm in the countryside. Follow the making process and see the storeroom where more then 5,000 wheels are aging from 12 up to 48 months. In the little bottega next to the storage room you can taste the cheese and buy some to take home.

After this, board your car and proceed for the visit to a Balsamic vinegar traditional Acetaia: this is a traditional Acetaia and a museum where you can see the largest collection of “tragni and zuccotti” the ancient way that we use to age the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar in Modena. I will explain how we have made Traditional Balsamic Vinegar in Modena for centuries and the difference between the product you find in supermarkets or on a table of a restaurant (yes!) You’ll be fascinated by those old barrels where the product is aged since 1870. Taste the product and shop too.
