What you’ll do

Embark on a guided walking tour of Cape Town and discover delicious local cuisine during this 4-hour food and drink tour. You'll meet your guide at 12 PM and get started by visiting Bo Kaap Deli to taste a local treat and admire the charm of the area. You'll then visit 2 further eateries – Zannes Fare and Marcos African Cafe - to sample classic African recipes. The tour concludes by visiting Fireman’s Arms, one of the oldest bars in South Africa, for traditional bunny chow and malva pudding paired with a local beer or gin.

Bo Kaap Deli: Your culinary journey begins at Bo Kaap Deli, where a local refreshment awaits. Wander amidst Bo Kaap’s vibrant and colourful houses, immersing yourself in the charm of the area.

Zannes Fare: Continue on to the Heritage Square dating back to 1771 and then enjoy a delightful experience at the charming Zannes Fare, renowned for serving the best Bobotie in town

Marcos African Cafe: The next stop is Marcos African Cafe, where you’ll indulge in an African platter featuring traditional meats and vegetables, accompanied by a tasting of a ceremonial African drink

Fireman’s Arms: Your journey continues to Fireman’s Arms, one of South Africa’s oldest bars, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample a tasting-size Bunny Chow and Malva pudding. Complementing these flavoursome treats, you can choose a local craft gin or beer
