What you’ll do

Private Cape Winelands to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek full-day tour - Over Mountains and through valleys, pausing to discover a fresh taste here, a compelling new bouquet there are the delights of a journey through the vineyards of Western Cape, a wine route. The wine region of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek produces some of the finest wines in the Cape Winelands, surrounded by lush mountains and rolling vineyards. On this tour, enjoy a comprehensive introduction to South African wine as you visit different wineries; sample a wide variety of red and white wines, including port brandy and sparkling wine; Stop at a local restaurant for lunch and taste regional specialties including Cheese and Chocolate.
Itinerary

You will be picked up from your accommodation at 09:00 am by our accredited tour guide and driver and head off on a full-day Cape Winelands tour. We will visit Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, we will follow that wine route in all its magnificent features. You will enjoy wine tasting up to 6 wine estates and also enjoy a town orientation tour in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Here you will have the pleasure to taste the amazing Cabernet Franc Rose, made from 100% Cabernet franc which displays flavors of ripe strawberries, Cassis, and candyfloss with a seductive spicy finish. Do all this while admiring the breathtaking beauty of this luxury destination with impeccable styling where the striking Cape Dutch architecture meets African artifacts. The Elegance of the vintage wines and artifacts of Delaire Graff will leave you speechless.

Continue to Marianne Wine Estate to experience biltong and taste their wines. Marianne believes that pairing different types of biltong with red wine enhances the flavors of their wines. Marianne's Floreal wine was handpicked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for former president Nelson Mandela's 91st birthday.

This wine estate boasts itself with good food, great wine made from perfectly produced grapes, and unparalleled views. Nestled on the upper slopes of Simonsberg Mountains. Here you will taste the award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc

Continue to Fairview Vineyards and Goats Cheese for a cheese and wine tasting. Purchase your favorite cheese and condiments from the deli, as well as wine from a choice of three ranges in the tasting room.

Franschhoek Cellar is a beautiful asset to the Franschhoek wine route that combines the charms of leisurely country life with the elegance of a world-class venue. here you will hoop off the wine tram and get directly inside, there is a restaurant with a magnificent wine farm view on your right-hand side, you will choose if you want to sit outside or inside, the view breathtakes the same. Straight ahead is the tasting ahead is the wine-tasting room with a kids' play area, kids can also have the opportunity of tasting grape juices paired with kiddies' snacks. Here "enjoy a wine tasting paired with Belgian chocolate or handmade cheese. Dine on alfreso-style lunches in the fabulous garden or sip an artisanal beer at the fabulous beer garden." After you are done, you will go back to the Tram, head back to Franschhoek terminal where you will hoop off the tram, and get into a minibus to Atlas Swift Wine Estate.

Located in the wine-tasting facility, the country kitchen offers relaxed dining, with a focus on local, sustainable, and fresh produce. Taste the world-renowned, award-winning wines with a pairing of cheese and fruits. Enjoy whilst overlooking the beautiful slopes and mountains, this wine estate is a delicacy at its best. Cellar tours and picnics and pre-booked.

Arriving at this magnificent picturesque wine estate you will proceed to the tasting room. "Grand Provance estate offers award-winning wine at the winery, gourmet cuisine at the restaurant, and creative talent at the gallery and the shop". You will be given a wine-pairing menu to choose from, there are other activities like wine blending tours, cellar tours (on request 24 hours prior to the travel date), wine & nougat pairing, oyster & MCC pairing, art gallery, and many more to do. This picturesque wine estate will leave you speechless.

After we are done with all wine tasting experience, we head back to Cape Town where you will be dropped off at your hotel or accommodation.
