What you’ll do

After being picked up from your central Mendoza hotel in an air-conditioned minivan, you will head south of the city towards Maipú enjoying the beautiful scenery of rolling vineyards and farmland. Once they arrive at Bodega Trapiche, they will learn about the history of the winery, as well as the grapes and the winemakers' terroir. They will enjoy tasting unusual wines such as Trapiche Colección Roble, Trapiche Espumante Extra Brut and Fond de Cave. You will visit the SinFin winery with your guide, tasting a style of wine developed over several generations. They will learn about Argentine wine traditions from the SinFin guide. Then, at Familia Zuccardi, they will visit their small olive oil factory: Zuelo, and enjoy lunch at the Pan y Oliva restaurant, with tapas, pasta and wines from Santa Julia, along with the homonymous bread and olive oil. After plenty of food and wine, you can relax in the minivan as you head back to Mendoza.

Itinerary

With a unique oenological and architectural experience, Bodega Trapiche represents "the richness of diversity" in Argentina. Throughout its history, it has understood the strength of viticulture in the country like no other, specializing in obtaining the best in each terroir, creating unique wines. Surrounded by a unique natural landscape delimited by its vineyards and olive groves, this winery is located in Maipú. Not only is it worth admiring the natural environment that surrounds it, but also its Renaissance-style construction that dates back to 1912 and is considered one of the icons of Argentine wine architecture. An experience where you can explore the vineyards, learn about the museum, its production philosophy and taste unique specimens that make up the essence of Trapiche.

Bodega SinFin is a family business, dedicated to the production of vineyards since 1975, and currently also dedicated to the production of quality wines. Convinced that wine spreads movements and conquers, his philosophy is to create sensations and keep them in each bottle to pour them at the right time. SinFin wines express the value of the terroir, the work of man and seek to satisfy their consumers by ensuring quality.

Pan & Oliva is Zuelo's gastronomic space, where you can find tapas, pasta, salads and homemade dishes prepared with seasonal ingredients from its own organic garden. A restaurant that has an essence that can be summed up in 3 concepts: restaurant - warehouse - educational site, because with the same passion that they produce their wines, the Zuccardi family produces an excellent variety of olive oils. A 3-step menu specially designed for this tour will be the final touch of the day. We did not visit the winery

The quality of Zuelo's oils begins with the care of the olives, from its 260 hectares of own farms, guaranteeing the choice of the best areas, varieties and specific times for the harvest. In the Zuccardi family oil factory, they produce extra virgin olive oil, with sensors of the highest quality.
