What you’ll do

Dear guests, this daily excursion has been programmed for those who wish to enjoy and discover the beautiful roman countryside just 30 minutes away from Rome. The tour is conducted by a professional English speaking driver, born and residing in the region of Rome and with an in-depth knowledge of the territory, capable to help you with the local language, advice about local food, shopping and much more. You will be shown and explained the several places included in the tour plan and suggested regarding how to best spend the time available.
Itinerary

From Rome, the way that leads to the Roman castle countryside, so-called the southern area of Rome, is the famous Appian way, commonly called by the ancient Romans the queen of the roads due to its importance and fame. Nowadays is well known for being the spot of famous Christian catacombs, primitive cemeteries.

A very good and historical winery, a beautiful place where to taste the local wines, Frascati wines. If overbooked we take customers to Santa Benedetta winery. The wine tasting is included in the tour fee.

A nice village well know for being one of the most famous white wine producer, the Frascati trademark.

A beautiful medieval town wich overlooks a wonderful lake of vulcanic origins and meeting place of counless people from all over the world thank to the presence of the Pontifical palace.
