What you’ll do

Embark on a leisurely walk through the charming Constantia wine region and savour delicious local wine and food with this half-day tour. This private tour begins at 8.30 AM, when you'll set off on a 6 KM walk with your guide – you can also choose a shorter route if you prefer. You'll learn about the wine region and visit the Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia, and Buitenverwachting wine farms for tasting experiences. The tour is completed by a lunch of local delicacies served at the last wine farm.

Duration: 5 hours

Start Time: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 8.30 AM

Meeting Point: Groot Constantia Red Bus parking area

Constantia Walking Tour: Go on a half-day 6 KM walk, which can be customised and shortened. Along the way, you'll hear stories about the oldest wine region in the southern hemisphere

Groot Constantia: Stop at the 1st wine farm to sample the wines it produces

Klein Constantia: Continue your walking tour on to a 2nd estate for another tasting experience

Buitenverwachting: Visit the final wine estate of the day to enjoy another wine tasting session as well as a lunch and tempting local delicacies

End Time: 2 PM

The tour runs Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

In the event of adverse weather, the tour can either be rescheduled or cancelled with your booking fee reimbursed.

Any cancellation of a booking must be made in writing and is not effective until such cancellation is received by The Constantia Wine Walk

Bookings cancelled by participants prior to 24 hours' notice will be refunded in full save for administration costs incurred.

Bookings cancelled by participants less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable.
