Instead of going to tourist hot spots, a guide shows you the “bacaro” (Venetian wine bars), where locals like to drink wine and sample “cicchetti” (local Venetian tapas). Best of all, food and drink tastings are included, to ensure a hassle-free evening.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

If the local municipality restricts access due to high tide and there are no walkways available, it is the client’s responsibility to bring appropriate footwear (e.g., boots). The guide will modify the itinerary to include alternate dry paths whenever possible.

No refund will be provided if high tide prevents certain parts of the tour, but adjustments to the route will be made for client safety and comfort.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this tour, it is not wheelchair/stroller accessible.

Venetian cuisine is closely connected to the sea. We enjoy a lot of seafood on this tour. We will do our best to provide alternatives for those who refrain from eating seafood.

Those with dietary restrictions need to contact us before joining the tour so we can arrange your food.
