Cheese Farm Visit & Tasting

Start your journey at a quaint Basque cheese factory in the picturesque countryside. Skilled artisans craft the delicious Idiazabal cheese from the raw milk of locally bred Latxa sheep.

Explore the shepherd's life, observe the herd and witness the meticulous cheese-making process. Afterward, enjoy a variety of cheese, curd, and sweet treats paired with local cider.

Txakoli Winery Visit & Tasting

Travel along the picturesque Basque coast to the Txakoli winery. This small family-owned establishment crafts 100,000 bottles of delightful wines every year. Txakoli, the "Queen of Getaria", is a crisp and refreshing white wine with a hint of effervescence that evokes an addictive sensation.

Guided by the winery's owner, the tour covers all aspects of winemaking - from the vineyards to the storage facilities.

After the tour, a delightful selection of 3 Txakoli awaits, accompanied by a light lunch featuring green chili peppers, anchovies, KM0 salad, and a freshly made potato omelette served with freshly baked bread.

Getaria

Next stop is the charming village of Getaria and the birthplace of Juan Sebastian Elkano, famous for his 1522 circumnavigation of the world.

Celebrating its 500th anniversary, meander through medieval cobbled streets, admire wooden balconies and visit the gothic Church of San Salvador.

After a leisurely stroll, explore gourmet boutiques with local delicacies. It's been a day of cultural and gastronomic discoveries before our journey back to San Sebastian.
