Itinerary
1
10:30 am – Meet your private guide directly in the hamlet of Roncole Verdi and start your visit at the Maestro’s birthplace: a really emotional moment for all those who didn’t have a clue about his humble origins in a small village of the Parma countryside back in 1813, when the land was administratively part of the French empire.
2

3
11:45-12:30 – Guided tour of Casa Barezzi, home to young Verdi during his professional musical studies, his first love nest and now headquarters of a cozy museum dedicated to his unique personality and his utmost troubled career start.
4
Lunch – Typical lunch in Po-river-valley style at one of the local trattorias, possibly the popular osteria where Verdi himself used to go to have his cup of Fortana wine.
5
02:45 pm – Guided visit of Teatro Verdi, a peculiar opera theatre in miniature built by the locals to celebrate their fellow citizen while he was living his glorious moments around the world.
