Known as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands. This has the breathtaking views of Banghoek Valley from the terrace, savour seasonal bistro-chic dishes with a South African twist at Delaire Graff Restaurant. Shaded by ancient oak trees, the broad wooden terrace at the restaurant embraces sweeping views of the vineyards and olive groves from Simonsberg Peak across the Banghoek Valley.

This is one of the Oldest Towns in South Africa, is has centuries of old vineyards and Cape Dutch Architecture. This town is also known to be the heart for the food and wine in the country. It is also situated in one of the most beautiful wine valleys in the world. At the bottom of the road, we will find the Huguenot Monument. It dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries, when the French came to settle there.

This was formerly known as Victor Verster. This prison was home to late Nelson Mandela for the last 14 months of his long political imprisonment. Described by Mandeka as a'gilded cage, his time at this prison was a combination of luxury and confinement. Mandela was not given a cell while being in prison here, but a comfortable Villa, with numerous bedrooms, a swimming pool, a personal chef and a view of the breathtaking Drakenstein Mountains

This was his last imprisonment, before he became a free man in February 1990. The Sexwhale family foundation commissioned a Long walk to Freedom statue on honor of Nelson Mandela.
