What you’ll do

You may be familiar with Okanagan wine, but did you know Kelowna also has a thriving craft beer scene? Join casual imbibers and self-proclaimed beer geeks for a tour of three of the area’s most popular breweries. Enjoy a flight of beer tasters at each stop. The experts will take you on a behind the scenes tour of the brews, and will help you find your new favorite beer.
Highlights
  • Tastings at BNA, Tree Brewing/Tree Institute, and Kettle River Brewing
  • Let your guide be the designated driver so you can enjoy the beer
  • You’ll be visiting working breweries, please wear closed toe shoes
  • Private pick up can be arranged for an additional fee
Itinerary
1
Our taproom has ten rotating beer taps, plus wine, cider and many non-alcoholic options. Our lineup generally features several of our core beers, a few seasonals, a one-off or two and sometimes a collab. It’s always changing, so follow along on Instagram for the latest and greatest. Don’t be afraid to inquire with one of our fine and knowledgeable bar staff about what’s pouring.
2
The annual Kelowna Regatta had been around for longer than the city has been established, it’s what brought the community together for the entire Okanagan and even pulled in visitors from the far ends of the province. Since the regatta is literally what brought the community together and we found this amazing photo and story of an old race boat used in the early days, it felt like a perfect fit. Red Bird Brewing was born.
3
After touring the historic Surtees Barn and discovering its charm, three guys with the love of craft beer and bringing people together decided to form Barn Owl Brewing Company in the fall of 2018. After being elected as successful lease applicants, the interior building of the brewery began on February 1st, 2019. Five months later, Barn Owl Brewing opened its doors to the public on July 6th, 2019.
