Kate did an awesome tour, both in the variety of places we visited but also in the food selection. For the price of the tour, you get so much more! Just be sure not to eat before the tour, you'll be stuffed by the time you're finished!

Our guide, Tony, was awesome! We had nine participants in our group. What I appreciated about Tony was that he did not attempt to speak as we were walking along the streets. He waited until we got to a stopping point and the group gathered around him and then he spoke. Tony made a few stops along the way to point out historic, cultural and architectural significant facts. Most places we visited, we had drinks whether they were alcoholic or not. The variety of foods offered range from lunch entrees to appetizers and desserts. Yes, this company was very accommodating for those with dietary issues. With all the food samplings, my husband and I walked away very, very full! Would I recommend this tour? Yes. We have done many Food Tours around the world and this ranks in my top five.

We met Kate, and 5 others, at the Bar El Federal and started the wonderful food tour with a lesson on how to drink a vermouth with seltzer. Then off to Beba's for some appetizers (Bunelos de Acella) and an empanada from El Hornero. This was our 2nd empanada from this locale since we had visited the Market the previous day. Both were extra delicious. A quick walk around the Mercado and off to the Refuerzo for a wonderful cheese pie. Ate every bit of it and finished off the extra piece. By the time the meat with potatoes dish was served, we were sooooo full but attacked it as well. The finishing touch at The Iceland with raspberry sorbet and pistachio ice cream (we could choose 2 flavors) was refreshing. Definitely needed to walk and nap after the tour. Kate was wonderful. I think she said she's a chef. She gave us so many insights on the proper ways to eat specific dishes. Definitely would not be thrown out of a restaurant by following her suggestions. Definitely recommend taking this food tour, or their dinner tour, as soon as you arrive in Buenos Aires. That way you'll know where to find the best food.

Great introduction into Argentine cuisine. Kate was enthusiastic and took her time describing the history of each dish. Glad we came hungry as we filled up from all of the tastings.
