Being surrounded by the sea, it is the sunniest part of Istria, giving the local varieties an original twist. This is a tour to go for if you prefer aromatic, fruity wines. Special treat on this tour is

, passito-style desert wine traditionally made in the town of Vodnjan, today produced by only a couple of winemakers. As this part of Istria is also where some its best olive oils are produced, you will surely taste a selection of those too.
