Istria’s 90s winemaking renaissance began at its very north, right next to the Slovenian border. Specific terrain and climate, on a par with France’s most famous regions, provide for some of the best wines Istria has to offer.This tour takes you to some of Istria’s oldest and most renown winemakers, producing a vast variety of styles, from local and international grape varieties, in local and international style.

You'll learn about the history and the styles of winemaking in Istria, the indigenous grape varieties,soils and microclimates and basics of pairing with signature Istrian dishes

Tasting of at least 15 wines in total

One-course lunch* in a traditional Istrian tavern

Visit of two to three wineries* (depending on number of wines we try in each winery)
