What you’ll do

Full-day wine tour visiting a winery in Montalcino within the Val d'Orica wine region, which has been made famous for its Brunello Wine. Hotel pick-up at 10 AM from Florence transports you into the heart of the Tuscan countryside before returning in the evening at approximately 6 PM. The 8-hour roundtrip includes wine tasting in Montalcino, with additional free time, plus a stop at the picturesque village of Pienza on the way back to Florence. During the wine-tasting session at the winery, a private lunch is provided and served to your group within the grounds.

Val d'Orcia: Explore the enchanting landscape of the Val d'Orcia wine region, where the hills are adorned with vineyards, olive groves and cypress trees. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is Renowned for its awe-inspiring beauty.

Montalcino: Famous as the birthplace of Brunello Wine, there's time to wander the streets and admire the Romanesque churches and Medieval Fortress while calling into independent wine shops.

Lunch and Wine Tour: Visit a local winery in Montalcino for a guided tour and wine-tasting session before settling down for an authentic Tuscan lunch.

Pienza: Before returning to Florence, there's time to stop off in Pienza - a small town perched on top of a hill, where you are invited to sample the local artisanal Pecorino cheese.

Drop-off: Driving through beautiful views across the Tuscan countryside, your private transportation returns to your accommodation.
