The Wine Composition:
Crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and occasionally a small amount of Petit Verdot, the wine aims to capture the complexity and elegance of the Bolgheri terroir
Produced since 1990, the grapes come from vineyards on alluvial soils featuring varying compositions, ranging from clay-sand to clay-loam, with rocky deposits known as "scheletro"
The Bolgheri Amphitheater:
The Guado al Tasso estate is defined by the Bolgheri Amphitheater, a picturesque plain surrounded by rolling hillsides facing the Tyrrhenian Sea
