What you'll do
This two hours instructive walking tour, shows you the most historical and important sites of Bratislava's old city. House of Opera, Old Town Hall, St. Michael's Gate and unique St. Martin's Cathedral are at the heart of Slovakia’s capital city. From the glamourous days when Bratislava was a capital city of Hungarian part of Habsburg Empire, to the darkest times of war, when Bratislava's district Petrzalka was a part of Third Reich, Bratislava has continued to be one of the most cozy cities in the world. At the end of your tour you will have beer tasting - 3 samples of local beer with a small snack. You will discover Bratislava & Slovakia also as a country of beer lovers.
Itinerary
- 1Meeting with your guide at 12:00 pm in fornt of Park Inn by Radisson Danube Hotel, Rybne Namestie 1, Bratislava. Short basic introduction of Bratislava. You will discover along the Hviezdoslavovo square, Opera House, Reduta Philharmonic Orchestra Building, continue thru Main Square along Franciscan Church to hidden gem of Bratislava – Primate's Palace and Old Town Hall. Continue via St. Michael's Gate along former House of Hungarian Parliament to Cathedral of St. Martin. At the end of the tour beer tasting in a local microbrewery - 3 samples of local beer with pretzel.
