What you'll do
Join our Liquor tasting in Polykala’s Distillery Show Room in Athens and explore our range of liqueurs in outstanding bottles while you learn about our 122 years story. How it started in 1897? Success came after the World War II? Who kept the distillery? A Greek family distillery that started in Kefallonia Island and moved in Athens. The store is based at the same street where the 2nd and 3rd Generation established the Polykala Distillery. The modern era finds the Polykalas distillery, in Athens. Rena Polykala, fourth generation of distillers, along with her father Giorgos Polykalas, goes on producing alcoholic drinks with a huge enthusiasm and passion, for a customer network that now covers all Greece. The secret recipes of liqueurs of the great grandfather V. Polykalas are used with the same dedication and they are baptized “1897 Polykalas Collection”, they are combined with the modern times, the flavors evolve and take off, the packages are replaced with new luxurious bottles, new products and proposals appear and the name Polykalas has become synonym with quality and good taste. LET’S GET TOGETHER for a liqueur tasting (max 3 flavors 0.02lt each). At the end of our tasting you can choose any 100ml liquor to take home with you (included in the price).
