1
On the panoramic terrace of Sorrento it is possible to admire the most beautiful panorama of the Sorrento Peninsula, it is also possible to visit the cloister and the Church of San Francesco, among the most beautiful in Sorrento. The eighteenth-century church is annexed to the convent building, whose prominent element is the cloister. One of the oldest monuments in Sorrento, built on the remains of a 7th century monastery, the cloister blends the typically 14th century style with that of subsequent eras. The cloister was restored in the first decades of the twentieth century and today is the location for classical music concerts.
2
Via San Cesareo di Sorrento is the historic center of Sorrento, with artisan shops, restaurants, and limoncello factories, an ideal place to taste the typical products of Sorrento, furthermore Via San Cesareo also hosts the Sedile Dominova, an ancient fifteenth-century loggia with a square plan with a beautiful seventeenth century dome. Inside it is possible to admire architectural elements and coats of arms of illustrious Sorrento families
3
Marina Grande, the oldest fishing village in Sorrento. The entrance to Marina Grande is the ancient gateway, a double arched portal, made of tuff and limestone, built in pre-Roman times. Today Marina Grande is an area with many restaurants surrounded by the beautiful panorama of the Gulf of Naples. Marina Grande is also home to the Church of Sant'Anna built by local fishermen in honor of Sant'Anna, protector of women giving birth.
