This restaurant has now got to the top of Barcelona's elite dining experiences. The chefs/owners originally opened Disfrutar in 2014, it has now been awarded two Michelin stars.

The entrance is typical Barcelona, with the colours of Mironian ceramics that travels through to the kitchen which is on view to customers in the main dining room. The cuisine is Mediterranean and revolves around their tasting menu, containing avant-garde cuisine.

Lasarte (C/ de Mallorca, 259, 08008 Barcelona)

This gorgeous restaurant was awarded three Michelin stars in 2017. The head chef is Italian Paolo Casagrande.

Set in beautiful surroundings; you will enjoy sumptuous dishes like: grilled roe deer with black truffle cream, roast kingfish with clam pil-pil, crab and champagne, or Wagyo ravioli with glazed eel, iodised cream and caviar.

Paolo is also at the forefront of the everyday running of the restaurant, and his superb elegant creativity is displayed in his presentations - such as the apple millefeuille, foie gras and eel, with amazing colours and flavours.

Tickets offer a more relaxed way of enjoying haute cuisine via its delicious and thought-out tapas. This restaurant is run by Fran Agudo on the kitchen side and Joan Romans in the dining room.

This stunning restaurant is located in the Monument hotel, and actually quite near to the Lasarte. Oria is less ceremonious, with slightly more affordable options but still served in great luxury. The menu boasts amazing à la carte and executive menu choices.

The restaurant is spacious and modern and is near the hotel lobby through a pyramid structure. The space is large with a skylight that gives natural light and lights up the adjoining swimming pool which only adds to the opulent surroundings.

Cocina Hermano Torres (Carrer del Taquígraf Serra, 20, 08029 Barcelona)

This restaurant is named after the Torres twins and can be located inside an old industrial building right in the centre of Barcelona. Various kitchens are found around the relevant dining sections. The clientele can see into the kitchen as the dishes are being prepared.

The Torres twin brothers are the chefs, and extremely very proud of their stylish cuisine of ‘family memories’ created by old recipes and made with fresh seasonal produce from the garden using innovative. Their amazing cuisine was awarded two Michelin stars when it opened in 2019.
