You will be shown by the owner and agronomist exactly how the herbs are processed in a traditional and natural way.

The herbal farm is literally metres away from the famous Samaria Gorge, and this will be your next stop to enjoy the views and take some photos. The gorge is one of Europe’s largest canyons, and is 16 kilometres in length and is situated in a stunning national park. One area of the gorge is known as the Iron Gates, which at it's narrowest is merely four metres wide, yet ascends reach up to a height of 500m.

Last but not least - is the visit to the renowned Manousakis winery, a top winery of Greece, that has been producing organic wines under their brand name of Nostos since 1997. Here you will experience a tour of the winery and taste the various wines with a healthy lunch in their lavish gardens.

Private Heraklion Wine Country Tour

On this six-hour tour, you will explore the different grape varieties in two stunning vineyards- the vineyard of Lyrarakis and the Paterianakis sister’s vineyard.
