  1. Meeting Point
  2. Tour Overview

Traditional food, interactive theater, authentic and immersive,
where Rome is the stage and the client is the protagonist
    of an unforgettable journey.

A journey in the most human and authentic streets of the center of Rome, a path that is lost in the history and stories of the eternal city. You will be immersed in the authentic Roman life style and involved in an experience made up of food and wine, beauty and popular culture.

A food walk between anecdotes and traditional food: a metacultural journey where the guide is an interactive subject. We firmly believe that food can sweeten the soul, and for this reason our tour could only begin with a quality espresso and the delicious Petit four of the De Bellis pastry laboratory.

The aroma of coffee and the irresistible melting of chocolate are the perfect ingredients to get to know the guide that will accompany you throughout your journey. Our warm up is over, it’s time to get lost in the alleys of the city, unknown corners, small shops of artisans, stories of nobles, and beggars.

A livingand breathing Rome, which reminds us at every step of its beauty and taste. We will therefore have the opportunity to taste a fragrant, fine and crispy Roman pizza in an ancient bakery in the center and then warm the soul with the scents of the earth, combining truffles with Tuscan and Roman wines. There will also be farm to table salamis and cheeses from the best Italian producers.

But now it’s time to cross the Tiber River and together with the guide become one with the Trastevere district. Here, between a chat with the locals and a sip of wine, we will discover how Roman cuisine has evolved, transforming the poorest dishes into real gourmet delicacies, such as the unmissable pockets of focaccia bread filled with meatballs or our fried delicacy.

If pizza can be street food, pasta has own ritual. Sitting inside the modern and charming restaurant Pro loco Dol Trastevere we will leave behind the tastings to sit in front of a steaming plate of spaghetti seasoned in sauces that most represent the Roman cousine.

Like life, our tour is a circular gastronomic journey, if it all started with a sweet, what better way to say goodbye than with a homemade Gelato from the award-winning Otaleg gelateria?
