  3. Tour Itinerary

    Day 1 : Florence

    Pick-up and departure.

First stop of the day. You will roam around this medieval town, atop a hill in southern Tuscany. Full of elegant Renaissance buildings, it is a must-see for travellers.

    First winery

The winery is located close to the main house, surrounded entirely by vineyards. The hand-harvested grapes arrive in the cellar, where they are selected by hand and turned into wine. The wines are then oak-aged and bottled here. You will tour the entire property and will be introduced to the art of organic wine production. The first wine tasting of the day will take place here.

    Second winery

Here you will serve a typical Italian lunch. Podere il Casale is probably one of the last farms in the region that does not limit and specialize its scope of farming. They also possess a restaurant that boasts dishes made out entirely of organic ingredients. Their in-house production of healthy products constitutes an attraction for food enthusiasts.

Pienza is the second medieval town you will visit in Val d'Orcia. Situated between the towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino, it is considered the "touchstone of Renaissance urbanism".

    Third winery

At this family-run winery situated at the base of the hilly Montalcino, you will get immersed into the art of wine making. You are going to explore the entire estate, tour the vineyards and wine cellars and understand the production process of Brunello di Montalcino. Their interpretation of Sangiovese grapes has given life to world praised wines. During the wine tasting, you will taste a remarkable pallet of their best wines.

Drop-off. The tour will generally end where it started.
