  2. Tour Overview

Discover one of Italy’s most amazing destinations, the unforgettable Ligurian Coast of Cinque Terre, UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy scenic views of the 5 ingeniously constructed fishing villages. Cinque Terre was proclaimed as Italy's first national park in 1999. It is the smallest but also the densest national park in Italy. The rocky landscape has been tamed by winemakers who carved and cultivated the steep terraces facing the sea. Cinque Terre remains Italy's most difficult areas to cultivate due to unfriendly environmental conditions. Despite this, the area produces high-quality wines that reflect the traits of the territory: the salty whiff of minerality served as a reminder of the terraced vineyards on the Ligurian coast.

Apart from sightseeing, this tour is centered around wine and food autochthonous to the area and distinct in nature. You will be offered a professional wine tasting in one of the villages. Lunch will be provided in a restaurant overlooking the sea. Between the villages you will travel by well-connected trains. A relaxing boat ride is also included between 2 of the villages.

  3. Tour Itinerary

    Day 1 : Florence

Pick-up and departure for Cinque Terre National Park. The ride from Florence to Cinque Terre will last for about 2 hours.

    Riomaggiore

First village. Riomaggiore climbs up along the ridges overlooking the sea and it is characterized by typical stone houses with colourful facades and slate-roofs.

    Vernazza

Second Village. Vernazza is unique in Cinque Terre because of the small port that was built allowing ships to land in the protected bay. Here you can visit the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia built in 1318 or seat down in front of the Ligurian Sea tasting one of the best gelato in Italy.

    Corniglia

Third village. Here you will enjoy a typical Ligurian lunch in a restaurant overlooking the sea and the impressive landscape.

    Monterosso al Mare

Fourth village. Monterosso al Mare is the largest out of the five coastal villages. The village is located on hills cultivated with lemons, vines and olives. From here we will take a boat ride to the next town, Manarola.

    Manarola

Fifth village. Manarola is one of the most charming and romantic of the Cinque Terre villages. The village is all ups and downs, with steep narrow alleys leading to the sea.

    Riomaggiore

    Final Stop.

    Florence
