  2. Tour Itinerary

    Day 1 :
    Megalopoli is a smaill town in the southwestern part of the regional unit of Arcadia, southern Greece. It is located in the same site as ancient Megalopolis. When it was founded in 371 BC, it was the first large urbanization in rustic Arcadia

    The Megalopoli Power Plant. It is a power plant in Arcadia in the central Peloponnese that produces electricity for southern Greece and the islands since 1969. It is located 3 kilometres of Megalopoli.

    Sparta, the capital of the Laconia Regional Unit, lies in a green valley between the Parnonas and Taygetos mountain ranges, near the right bank of the Eurotas River. It is the seat of the Municipality of Sparta, with a population of around 35 000, and is a hub for the various areas of the Unit.

    Visit to a Woman Cooperative in the village Skala in Laconia. The visitors can see the production of the local products and buy from the small shop. The local women make handmade delicious products based on their grandmothers old recipes such as diples (fried dough sprinkled with cinnammon and honey), pites (greek pies), glyka tou koutaliou (spoon sweets), marmalades and more!
