- After arrival at UNESCO World Heritage Mont Saint-Michel your guide will bring You up the narrow streets of the medieval village toward the top sharing with You stories and legends. On the top of the Island You can admire panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and bay and enter the Benedictine Abbey. Entrance tickets into the Abbey include audio-guides in many languages.
- First settled by man in the year 709 it contains Medieval village & beautiful Abbey fortress dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel. The construction of the Benedictine Abbey started in the 700’s and continued through the 1200’s. The whole island is classified by UNESCO as a world heritage site. It remains practically the same since the Middle Ages as it was the goal of pilgrims from all over the world. Mont Saint Michel remains the most visited site of France.

- 15:00 Departure from Mont Saint Michel to Cancale (50 km). It takes about one hour going driving by national roads.

If You mention Cancale to a Frenchman he well say "oysters", which have been cultivated in this fishing village for hundreds of years. In Cancale You enjoy also breathtaking views over the Baie du Mont-Saint-Michel.
We offer two options during our stay in Cancale:
- To visit one of the Cancale's restaurants around the port where you can sample the "king of shellfish"
- The second option is to buy a tray from a stallholder to take away to eat them at place admiring the bay of Cancale

In the 11th century, Brittany was a rich and flourishing duchy that needed to be protected. Thus arose the "golden arc" of fortified cities: Chateaubriand, Vitré, Fougeres, Rennes. Fougeres, with its 11th-century fortress, was the main bastion of the Breton defense line.
