Moussaka: is one of the most famous dishes we enjoy here in Greece especially in the summertime! It is a must to try Moussaka while you are in Greece. It is an honor for the Greeks to teach you how to make it when you get back home.
It's a real crowd-pleaser that can feed a family or a group of friends. Our take on the classic layered dish is that we have created a simple way of making it that can be prepared in 2 stages. Not spending too much time in the kitchen for one day.
Of course, we won't only be cooking Moussaka during the class. You'll also get to add two more favorite dishes to your repertoire:
Feta Saganaki: - this surprising Greek dish from the mezze family is soft, creamy feta that can either be cooked on the grill, oven, or either on a frying pan. An amazing appetizer that goes with most plates on a Greek table. A glass of Ouzo makes it taste much better.
Cretan Salad: - think of a Greek salad and wait for the most divine taste! Baked or boiled Potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and capers, topped with soft cheese and covered with honey, thyme, and mustard dressing are just a few of the ingredients that make this salad a great option to serve on any occasion.
