  2. Tour Overview

The talented culinary team at Sala Rim Naam has created an outstanding Thai menu of traditional favourites and seasonal specialities.

Housed in a richly decorated pavilion built in the traditional Northern Thai style, Sala Rim Naam is the setting for a unique cultural experience — a classical Thai dance show performed every night enjoyed during a delicious meal of traditional Thai dishes including Lon Poo Talay (sea crab meat cooked in coconut milk), Yaam Talay (spiced seafood salad) and Mussamun Nuea (southern style beef curry with sweet potato and onion).

There are two stages, one for the traditional orchestra and one for the highly skilled Thai dancers performing excerpts of the Khon Dance. You can expect the highest of standards here, as the music and show are more like subtle background entertainment than the loud, touristy shows found else. The dancer's costumes are superbly crafted and dances are beautifully executed, making the evening both luxurious and, particularly for first time visitors to Thailand, fascinating.
