    Day 1 :
    Take a walk at the Marina sea front and learn about the port history and its monument.

    Take a walk at the Explanade de Espana, and be dazzled by more than 6 million ceramic tiles on the promenade floor. Get amazed by the Spanish Boulevard on the seaside. Originally called “El Malecón”, it changed its name to “Mártires de la Libertad” (“Martyrs of Liberty”).

    The current building was erected in the early 1920s and is one of the city’s major buildings, reflecting the bourgeoisie’s aspirations of the time.

    Admire its ornamental elements such as the barley-sugar columns on the facade or its two towers. This baroque work of civil architectonics was designed by architect Lorenzo Chápuli and built on the site of the former city hall in the 18th century. Discover the history through your tour guide.

    Next, walk down to the quaint old quarter of the Barrio de Santa Cruz and discover quiet streets of colorful buildings. Experience a typically Mediterranean way of life before going to the 17th-century Co-cathedral of Saint Nicholas of Bari, built on the remains of a mosque.
